Small field in which The Contractor can find the front comfortably at a moderate tempo. PAWA (8) probably holds the key to this race as the only runner without any exposed form. Looked good in both trials and while clicked up a little in the latest of them has found a perfect race to start off. Should run well. THE CONTRACTOR (6) is clearly the best of those that have raced and he fought hard when runner-up at Scone earlier in the week. Backs up on home track and looks the logical danger. SPIRIT OF SAINTLY (5) boxed on well last start at Narromine, does have a poor record but not without a good place chance this time. PREORDAIN (4) and HUTT STREET (3) have also had a number of chances but could place. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pawa to win. Save on The Contractor.
