Genuine pace with Nightfall finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. AUTUMN BEAUTY (3) probably has more upside than most in this field, and even though he was well back as favourite at Te Aroha last week, it was his first run in a clockwise direction. He is much better racing this way around and can make amends. Follow your money. HE'S ALL FABULOUS (1) got back too far from a wide gate last start, and ran on too late. He can settle a lot closer to the pace from the pole position this time, and is expected to be a lot more competitive this time. Each way. JACKAROO (6) has been batting on the Awapuni poly track over the winter, and his form suggests that he prefers the turf tracks. He won't lack fitness, and has a great chance to find some form again. Each way. GRAND PROSPECT (5) can be forgiven for his last start at Whanganui, and he did post a rare win the last time he visited this track. With some luck from a wide gate, he is capable of figuring in the top 3. SUGGESTED PLAY: Autumn Beauty looks well placed to take this out.
