Expecting a strong gallop with Flamboyant Lad and Mcadam taking up the running over Street Lark. NAVY HEART (8) resumes for the Maher stable and looks well-placed to make a strong return. She was perhaps on tired legs at the end of last prep in G3 company but her run in the Alexandra Stakes at Moonee Valley was excellent, finding the line strongly off a muddling tempo. Given an easy time in her jump-outs, she should appreciate kicking off at 1400m and gets the right rider engaged. TOURNELLE (10) is proving costly but continues to race well, again beaten narrowly at Geelong. With her consistency she only needs things to fall her way to finally break through. STREET LARK (12) looked smart in her maiden win before the spell and has been brought up to the mark with two jump-outs. She has upside and is a genuine winning chance. FLAMBOYANT LAD (14) returned with a fighting win and should only be better second-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Navy Heart each-way.
