Without much in the way of early speed it might be left to New Hymn Sheet to take charge. NEW HYMN SHEET (4) got back to 1200m last start and only just missed after having her chance in the straight. Up in trip now, but it may be what she needs now with the gear change sure to help her as well. Looks to get every possible again and this looks a very winnable race. PRINCE OF BONDI (1) is better than he showed last start over 1400m here and will appreciate stepping up to the mile again. The 3kg claim comes in handy and the Winkers go on now. Drawn nicely and can put his best foot forward. BEDOUIN VILLA (6) was off a freshen last start when well beaten in the same race as New Hymn Sheet, but is no doubt better suited over this trip. The inside draw and apprentice claim are both ticks. Worth including. THROW ME A KISS (7) steps up to this trip for the first time and is not to be discounted. PRETTY IN PEARLS (5) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: New Hymn Sheet looks the one to beat.
