Sure Thing and Secret Style should set a strong gallop. One of the features of the day now and CLOSE AT HAND (7) goes on top with some strong form under his belt. He missed last start in a similar race here but should be better suited by the drop back in trip slightly. He'll get every chance to capitalise off the inside draw and he can bounce back to winning ways. CLIMB ON TOP (9) disappointed last start in Heavy conditions but was in top order prior to that at Bunbury and Northam. Brad Parnham makes the trip to ride and the wide draw isn't an issue as he tends to get back anyway. Expecting a big turnaround in performance. SECRET STYLE (11) jumped favourite last start and was strong late, just missing out over 1200m. Up in trip slightly suits, as does the better draw and she looks poised to strike third-up into the campaign. INFLUENCING (1) bounced back to form here last start and can go on with the job. SURE THING (8) can build on a strong first-up win despite a wide alley. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Close At Hand in the Coolgardie Sprint.
