The trio Aeiphullos, Canterbury Hayate and Kokokei will set a strong tempo. GRAF (1) didn't do a bad job when second last start after being in contention on the corner over 1400m at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Yet to miss the placings from four starts at this track. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot make amends. KOKOKEI (9) is struggling for a win and proving costly lately but does go well this venue. Looks suited here and gets chance to break through. AEIPHULLOS (8) pushed forward and was a determined winner by a neck over 1300m at this track last time out. Will be in this for a long way. CANTERBURY HAYATE (4) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was prominent at the turn before being beaten 7 lengths into fourth over 1400m at this track. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
