WOODVILLE 150YR MILESTONE 1400m

Track: HEAVY 10     True

Plenty of pace established by Liquid Les, Shelbyrock'n and Shawshank, with Turnmeon close at hand. SHAWSHANK (4) has come of age in his last couple of starts, and this lightly tried 6-year-old gelding will be chasing a hat-trick of wins here. He is nicely weighted after a 2kg claim and can get the job done again. RAGAMUFFIN (7) is a handy gelding at this level, and he copes with a wet track no problem. He has been tuned up with a recent trial, and can figure in the finish. Each way value. FLORIN (8) made a better beginning last start and was too strong for her rivals, scoring by a length. She drops 3.5kg from that run, and can repeat the dose. SHELBYROCK'N (1) was the first beaten in a strong field at New Plymouth last start. When she leads uncontested, then she becomes hard to peg back. Don't drop her yet. SUGGESTED PLAY: Shelbyrock'n will take some pegging back here.
