Strong tempo with Smart Axion, Ripplet and Mani Hero leading the way. LET'S LIVE ON (8) was in a different class last time with a dominant all-the-way win by 4 lengths at this track over 1400m. Will prove very tough to beat. MANI HERO (4) ran a strong third over 1400m at this track two runs back then was below his best last time over 1700m when seventh, beaten 12 lengths. Form at this shorter distance is strong so should be in the finish. HAKUSAN APPLE (10) was ridden positively and led throughout to score over 1400m at this track last time. Tricky draw but has the speed to lead and will be in this for a long way. QUEEN RULER (1) did a great job to score by 0.8 lengths over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Likely to be there at the finish again.
