Not much early speed of note and Rhodopis and Black Ration may find themselves setting a steady tempo. KITANO BRIDGE (12) has missed the frame at her last couple of outings, the latest when sixth over 1400m at Chukyo. Far better placed and happy to have her on top this time. HIMALAYA VELOZ (3) did a great job to score by 9 lengths over this course and distance when resuming from a layoff last start. No reason he cannot salute again. DRAMATURGY (6) was in a different class last time with a dominant all-the-way win by 4 lengths at this track over 1200m. Solid prospects again. BLACK RATION (5) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 17 lengths away in 13th over 1700m at Sapporo Dirt. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
