Deion is the probable leader in the small field. DEION (4) likely didn't run out the mile in a pressure race at Narromine last time so can be forgiven for that. Was a nice winner over this distance prior to that run and looks to get a degree of control up front. Hard to run down. LOCKDOWN GAMBLE (1) is racing well without winning and boxed on pretty well to hold third in the Narromine Cup. Races well on his home track and can't be denied a chance. FETES DES MERES (7) is the up and comer who was solid in a Highway then found the line well into third at Scone earlier in the week. No surprise if she's in the finish.
