Definite winning chance. FESTIVE BEAM (4) finished sixth when fresh from a spell last start in a maiden steeplechase (2770m) at Fukushima with today's rider Taro Kusano piloting. Improvement in store. MEISHO KAGEKATSU (1) has put in a couple of moderate performances since resuming. Kicked off with an unplaced effort in a maiden steeplechase (2970m) at Hanshin then finished eighth last time in a maiden steeplechase (3000m) at Chukyo. Worth serious consideration third-up. THE ROCK (9) returned from a spell last start and was on debut over the jumps. Could only manage 13th on that occasion, beaten 45 lengths, in a maiden steeplechase (2850m) at Niigata. Sure to make his presence felt.
