Plenty of pressure primarily from Anode, Mask Rider and Devas Twelve. PATCH OF STARS (1) proved a very progressive type in his debut campaign, clocking an impressive three-peat before a 0.8L defeat last start as the odds-on favourite. His trial coming in suggested he hasn't taken a backwards step and Purton remains in the saddle. Needs some luck from the draw but he can pick up where he left off. DEVAS TWELVE (10) just missed two back before a narrow win here to end last campaign at this track an trip. He was solid at the trials since that effort and he has shown he fires on the fresh side. Has the speed to offset the sticky barrier and can give them something to chase. ATULLIBIGEAL (2) bounced back to form at the end of last campaign and that'll hold him in good stead coming into this. He didn't have much clear air in his latest trial, but Bowman hopping back in the saddle is a good push for his chances. Can feature. POPE CODY (5) showed enough at the end of last campaign and can make his presence felt.
