NIGHT SLUGGER (4) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Niigata over 2000m after he gave away a big start on the bend. Awkwardly drawn and might need a little luck early. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. IN VOGUE (3) recorded a strong on-speed win last time by 0.8 lengths over this journey at Kokura. In form and will take beating again. RED BELLE AME (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 5 lengths when sixth over 1600m at Chukyo five weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. YUMEWA HATESHINAKU (2) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 8 lengths into seventh over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Fitter and sure to run well.
