Expecting Saint Lien to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. DON ERECTUS (13) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt when second, beaten half a length. Sure to take a lot from that hitout so he shouldn't be a maiden for long. HERITAGE BLOOM (2) looked good at his only appearance ten weeks ago over 1200m at Fukushima, finishing third and beaten 5 lengths. Has a low draw and another bold showing is on the cards. COPANO THOMAS (11) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Niigata over 1400m. Expected to run well again. FIELD APPEAL (10) is a two-start maiden who resumed from a spell last start and was beaten 5.5 lengths when seventh over 1400m at Niigata. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
