A solid tempo on the cards with Harpy Tiara heading them off. SMART NUMEN (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1500m at this track, finishing fourth. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ROYAL STRAIGHT (5) is a distance specialist who turned things around last start and scored here. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to cope. PRECURSOR (6) was comfortably accounted for when sixth last time out over 1500m at this track. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot make amends. TAKE NOTICE (2) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time here. Likely to be about the money again.
