MAURITIUS KESTREL (11) showed good pace last time but found one too good o the day. Richard Fourie is likely to use his early gate speed to overcome his wide draw and he may be hard to peg back. WINTER RAINFALL (6) was resuming from a spell last start when a solid second over this course and distance. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Sure to be figuring in the finish. SPEED RACER (2) was always forward and fought o well to finish second over 1250m at this track last time. Has the speed to be prominent and rates well as a each-way chance. NIGHT BOMBER (5) was a strong winner last time over 1250m at this track, scoring by a nose and making it two on end. Can make it a hat-trick.
