Hot pace certain with Lonhro Gold, Condor and Red Maned keen to take up the running. LONHRO GOLD (4) last appeared five weeks ago when fourth over 1000m at this track. Subsequently scored a trial win. Veteran whose best form stacks up so he looks the one to beat. FAST AND FEARLESS (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 4.5 lengths away in sixth over 1100m at this track after being in contention on the turn. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is capable of running a bold race. TAKHI (9) finished eighth two runs back then did well last start when he worked home well but found one better over 1100m at this track, beaten only a head. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to mix it with them. CONDOR (2) has been in the market at his last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing seventh over 1000m at this track. Can improve and is worth including.
