Expecting Last Samurai to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. PACIFIC ATLANTIC (4) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back on turf with success as public elect over 1100m at this track a week ago, getting home by 2.25 lengths after he worked home in great style. Once again capable of testing his rivals. GOLDEN BROWN (5) did a good job last time, finishing in the money when second over 1000m at this track at the second run of the campaign. Fitter and is expected to feature. JIN SAKAMOTO (1) did a great job to score by 2.75 lengths over this course and distance last start in a return to form. Worth serious consideration. NIMBUS STAR (6) made progress last time out, finishing 2.75 lengths from the winner in second over 1200m at this track. Nicely placed to find winning ways.
