GOING: H(8)

DEVILS DOUBLE OTBF CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE 2000m

Track: HEAVY 8   Rain (Max: 17)   Rail: Out 3m 1100m-W/Post; True Remainder.

Pace strong from War Ribbon and Ceremonious vying for the lead closely attended by Crusheen Lass. TENBURY WELLS (4) looked a class above when picking them up quickly over a mile last start at this track. Bred to run this trip and rates highly. CERMONIOUS (2) put a space on them to open his account last start. Up in weight in similar grade but drawn to advantage. Can go back to back. WAR RIBBON (14) is making the right kind of progress this time in and the stable can nurture a staying pedigree. Can easily feature. MYSTIC DIVA (5) finds a class rise but any sign of rain works for her. Fit enough to be a factor. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tenbury Wells win.
