Genuine tempo with Freak Of Nature leading the way. VERDAD (8) is a classy horse who was prepared to get out over a trip as a 3YO but looks sharper this time around and it was only a freakish ride that denied him a first-up win at The Valley. 1400m looks ideal second-up. MODOWN (18) has always shown above-average ability and while this is tougher than the first-up assignment, he ran well there and will appreciate the extra distance. CONQUEROR (12) will have taken great benefit from the two runs back from a spell and is drawn to be a major player. PROWLING (13) seems to lack the killer punch required to win but is often working home into the minor money. SUGGESTED PLAY: Verdad to win.
