No obvious leader in a race that lacks much early pressure on paper. NICHT ZU SEHR (2) did a good job last start to finish second at this track over 1800m, beaten a head. Should be at his peak now after two career starts. Nice alley and is sure to run well. RED VARIATO (11) stepped out for the first time last start and was just fair in finishing fifth at Chukyo over 2000m, beaten 6 lengths. Expected to finish much closer with the race experience on board. CARTESIUS (4) has not raced since his debut back on July 7 when he finished eighth over 1800m at Hakodate. Will be better for that run and is expected to go well. POSEIDON BAROWS (3) showed good early speed and raced on the pace when first-up after a spell last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 3 lengths, over 1800m at this track. Can feature in the finish.
