SANDOWN-HILLSIDE   28 Sep 2024

GOING: G(4)

Quayclean Handicap 1800m

Track: GOOD 4   Clouds (Max: 21)   Rail: True Entire Circuit.

A Samurai Mind and Staunch can take forward positions at a moderate tempo. A SAMURAI MIND (1) is a progressive gelding who has put together back-to-back wins across the border and was tested in the SA Derby last prep, so extra distance shouldn't hurt. ELECTRIC IMPULSE (5) has her first go at 1800m but she's hard to knock now she's in winning form. ONE DREAM ONE SOUL (4) was unlucky at her Aussie debut then rounded them up at The Valley and is good enough for this. FISTSOFFURY (2) was well-held first-up but was tested in good company last prep as a 3YO so must be respected. SUGGESTED PLAY: A Samurai Mind to win.
