Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Strong Current. A SHIN BEAUTE (4) progressed nicely last start when she did her best work late to finish a close third over 1400m at this track. Rates highly and is right in the mix again. SHIGERU PEGASUS (7) proved too strong two runs ago then was less impressive last time out when fifth over 1400m at this track. Shinsuke Ishikawa is a key engagement. Nicely placed to return to winning form. ANIMAL KIRISHIMA (3) is a distance specialist who got a long way back last start when seventh over 1400m at this track. Has a good record at this course and distance, including three wins. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. PIENA NICE GUY (1) has not appeared since he finished fourth over 1400m at this track on July 22. Can make his presence felt here.
