Early speed assured from Harriet, Listentozou and Papal Wars locking horns ahead of Paul Edward. LISTENTOZOU (3) has been switched north by the Waller yard off two threatening efforts at Hawkesbury. Has the outside gate but gets in well with the 3kg claim. Rates best and wins with average luck. PAPAL WARS (4) just missed here over a mile in a return to form. He is still shy of his Victorian peaks and Rodd goes aboard. He races forward and dropping back 200m shouldn't be an issue. The danger. HARRIET (9) is a former Kiwi resuming for the Freedman yard. She's trialled well at the Gold Coast and the betting will be key. PAUL EDWARD (13) has Victorian form that would see him in the finish if replicated. Had his first outing for the yard at Warwick and was distanced. Not sure what to make of that but he's sure to be better for it. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Listentozou to win.
