Ikasara possessed good early speed. GATSBY'S (3) blitzed his rivals first up over this track and trip before disappointing as fav when fourth in the G3 San Domenico Stakes over 1100m here on August 31. Kept fresh and J Mac sticks from the good draw. Best figures should see him run well. WINNING PROPOSAL (8) underrated Shalaa filly who gets conditions to suit here. Sat on the speed from the awkward gate when a tough sixth on resumption over 1200m in the G2 Furious Stakes at Randwick on September 7. Maps well on the limit weight and loves rain-affected going. IKASARA (6) has not appeared since winning on debut over 1100m at this track on April 27. Fitted with two trials and must be kept safe. ALTHOFF (2) is next in line. SUGGESTED PLAY: Gatsby's to win.
