Jameson and Joshua to stride forward and take up the running. EVERLASTING KISS (6) worked home evenly for a midfield finish when resuming over 1850m at Newcastle last start. Went around in a couple of quality three-year-old staying races when trained in Victoria last prep, although failed to measure up. Looks far too good for these with that run under the belt. JOSHUA (3) appreciated the step up to 2000m at Wagga last time out when he led on straightening but was edged out late. Putting it together now and looks the obvious danger. MY GEM (7) backs up six days after battling on fairly for third over 1900m at Armidale. Just one win in 53 says a lot. One for the exotics. GANGPLANK (1) is a one-pacer who was a respectable third over 2200m at Bowraville last Saturday. Minor claims only. The rest look to have little hope, headed by JAMESON (2). SUGGESTED PLAY: Everlasting Kiss to win what looks like a race in two.
