Expecting a very strong tempo with lots of early pressure, predominantly from Aladdin's Lamp, Twice The Master and Sudden Song. FLY FUTURA (5) showed signs of needing his comeback run over 1600m last time. He finished third in his only attempt over this distance. He will strip much fitter and rates well as the leading chance. MOHANDAS (13) set the pace over 1800m last time before getting outrun late. He placed over this course and distance in his penultimate start. With luck in the running, he should be fighting out the finish. IGNATIUS (4) finished fifth last time out over 1800m at this track three weeks ago as the favourite. Tackles a longer journey this time. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position and finish in the money. GROOVEJET (10) opened this prep three-and-a-half weeks ago and scored over 1800m at this track, getting home by half a length. Looks well placed to go back-to-back.
