Solid tempo with Cosmo Joseph leading from Dona Rhea and Infanta. BARONE (14) lifted strongly but just failed to pick up the winner when first-up last start over 1200m at Niigata Dirt. Should tighten right up following that outing. Nicely placed to take this out. ECORO EIGHT (11) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1200m at this track. Should be near his peak for this. Placed to advantage so expect another big run. COSMO JOSEPH (12) made it two minor placings from three appearances this prep when runner-up last start over 1200m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. HISTORIAI (7) closed last prep five-and-a-half months ago when he finished eighth over 1200m at this track. This sets up nicely.
