Plenty of early pace on show, particularly from Roll Of The Dice, Chief Of Staff and Panning Gold. ICHACHA (9) has produced two good runs to date. He moved up like a winner over 1450m last time but [leaked on his effort and had to settle for second. He is a progressive type and should love the rise to the mile. From his good draw, he is the one to beat. OMBUDSMAN (4) has improved with the blinkers fitted and steps up to the mile for the first time. If seeing out the extra distance on offer, he should pose a massive threat to the top pick. PANNING GOLD (3) was in solid form before his spell. His best career effort came here over this trip and he will be mowing down the frontrunners. Watch for him late. ROLL OF THE DICE (1) is in a good space at the moment. He drops back to the mile and from pole position, he may be hard to peg back in the run down to the line. Each way value.
