Solid tempo with Hellish leading from Fresh Prince and Sensationabull. SHAMEDY (3) won back-to-back trials before finishing second fresh up as favourite on this track just over 3 weeks ago, beaten by half-a-length. He will be spot-on with his fitness now and can go one better in a similar field. HELLISH (8) has thrived since leaving Victoria earlier in the year and after a fresh-up second-placing at Rockhampton, he has won his last 3 races on the bounce, including an all-the-way win at Yeppoon 18 days ago. He is having his first run on this track and is the main threat to the top pick. LADY RAIN (7) has been freshened up since a couple of indifferent runs recently and is good enough to bounce straight back into the money here. Stick with her on an each-way basis. SENNAPROST (9) battled on fairly well to finish fifth here last start and drops 4.5kg from that effort which could make all the difference. The pole position will help and he is another with top 3 claims in an even contest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Shamedy to win.
