Tacit, Center Sourire and Dogma will be keen early so the tempo should be genuine. TROVATORE (1) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at Niigata over 1800m, beaten a neck. That run should have him rock-hard fit now. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and a placing from four starts. Sure to run well. CONTRAPPOSTO (3) returns from a break of four-and-a-half months. Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a third over 1600m at Kyoto. Nicely placed to kick off another successful campaign. FORTUNE TIME (14) is a promising galloper who kept his unbeaten record intact last start when resuming over 1600m at Chukyo, making it three victories. Expected to measure up yet again. BATTLE HARDEN (15) went to the paddock after scoring at his last appearance four-and-a-half months ago over 1600m at Tokyo. Makes plenty of appeal.
