A keen early contest with Lim's Everest and Crown Dancing showing pace, along with Navy Seals crossing from an outside gate. LIM'S EVEREST (4) strode forward early from his wide draw last start over 1800m at this track then fought on gamely to finish second. Meets a comparable field this time so he should play a major role. EMPOWERING (3) came from well back on the turn to score last time out over 1600m at this track, his second win in succession. Has a formidable combination with Carlos Henrique who has been aboard for those two wins. That form puts him right in this. A BETTER TOMORROW (1) finished 3 lengths from the winner in fifth last start after being in contention on the corner over 1800m at this track, an improvement on his seventh here the run before. A big run is on the cards. APRIL (5) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing sixth at this track over 1800m after he gave away a big start. Likely improver who should be in the mix.
