Plenty of first starters engaged which makes for a tricky map. It is reasonable to assume a solid tempo over this sprint course. Another tricky contest and the betting will be instructive. THROWIN SHADE (4) won a trial on the turf and missed a whisker on the poly on debut. He runs along and has a handy 3kg claim. Fitter and expect him to give a sight. TRAPEZE ALERT (10) is on debut and profiles well. In the premier barn and his latest trial here was good. Scratched from the previous race. Keep safe. DIBBA DOBBA (6) went close at the Sunshine Coast and is still well shy of her peaks Has a wide gate but deserves consideration. Trial-winning debutant HELLA FAST (9) must be kept safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Throwin Shade makes each way appeal.
