BLUE STRATUM (1) was given his shot at Group 3 grade last time after a couple of slick wins and the drop back to 1000m here looks more to his liking. Conversely, ALDOLFITO (3) probably wants it a little further than 1000m but should good tenacity in his debut win and can win again. HARPALEE (4) will find this much more to her liking than the first-up run in Listed grade, when not beaten all that far. WINNASEDGE (11) showed ability when running on for a debut win over this distance at Mornington. Has upside so could take the next step. SUGGESTED PLAY: Blue Stratum makes each way appeal.
