Always plenty of early pressure in sprint races such as this with a large number of first starters. SAGAPONACK (8) debuts for a sharp Sydney barn and has looked good in a string of trials. She jumps from a low gate and this is a winnable assignment. LA SIGNORA DANE (4) resumes and is also Sydney-trained. Has the rail and went close in a recent Warwick Farm trial. The betting will be key with her as well. ANGELS CLOUD (3) is race-fit and would be a player if she found her best. ANGEL OF SPRING (2) was midfield in Victoria last time but had put together a string of top-four finishes before that so can play a role. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sagaponack on what we've seen.
