Pace genuine with Mishani Aviator and Silverado Miss pressing hard closely followed by Replace The Ace and Mishani Tycoon. PIPISTRELLE (1) won her first 2 races this prep on the bounce and then finished runner-up at Eagle Farm a fortnight ago in a much stronger field than what she meets here. The step up to a middle distance is ideal and she should really be too strong for this class of opposition even with a big weight. REPLACE THE ACE (5) led all the way to score at Rockhampton in his penultimate start before being claimed late at Thangool last start when finishing a narrowly beaten third. He has 3.5kg less to carry this time and will be the one to peg back again. SPIN DOCTOR (3) has changed stables since a disappointing effort at the Sunshine Coast just over 3 weeks ago. A change of scenery could help and he is capable of bouncing straight back into the money here. ORCA (4) flipped his form around when scoring by a nose here 11 days ago over 1560m. He races a lot closer to the pace that day and is likely to try similar tactics here. Ryan Wiggins in the saddle is a plus so stick with him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pipistrelle to win.
