A strong tempo from Savvy Statement pressing forward. LONHRO'S QUEEN (11) handy filly kept fresh and back in trip after holding ground to the line when fifth over 1400m here eight weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a trial placing over 1000m at Scone on June 12. Blinkers come off and the visors go on. Can sit off them and pounce late. Go close. WATER LAD (5) has a sound record at his first prep and happy to overlook latest eighth over 1200m at this track when drawing out on May 10. Can run into the minor money. EVASIVE NATURE (3) undefeated second-up and sharp improvement anticipated from the good gate. Snagged back from the wide gate when a plugging eighth over 1100m at Dubbo on June 7. Had a few gear changes and can return to form. POCKET PICKER (7) comes off a 42 day let-up with sound form. Run down late from the wide gate when a close second over 1000m here on May 10.
