Pace is sure to be keen from Tambaffe and Splendide striding forward, along with Risky Whisky from a wide alley. TAMBAFFE (3) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and sat just off the lead, eventually drawing away to score by 1.5 lengths over 1400m at this track. Going well and should give a bold sight again. SPLENDIDE (5) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with a win over 1400m at this track three weeks ago, getting home comfortably. Osamu Shimohara scored on him last time and retains the mount. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. WISTERIA DADDY (11) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track. Drawn out but should be in the finish again. MEINER PAVEL (1) was safely held last start at this track and distance after jumping from a wide gate. Backmarker who keeps coming. Must be respected.
