Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. LACUS GAUDII (9) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Less impressive last time out when seventh. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. TAGANO OWL (6) finished seventh last time out over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt on May 4. Sure to feature again against this opposition. STATICE BOUQUET (7) is back after a break of three months. Was tackling tougher opposition last time but is nicely placed back in this grade and can feature in the finish.
