Will appreciate the 1.5kg claim today after sitting on the pace before tiring late to finish fourth over 1250m at Canterbury on May 29. At his top for this and looks placed to advantage here. COOL LAD (8) fifth-up today and can turn his fortunes around from the low draw. Taken back from the sticky gate when tenth over 1300m at Warwick Farm in stronger company on June 5. Will prove hard to hold out. HEADSTOCK (17) seven weeks between runs when a sound fourth over 1300m at Kembla on June 4. Trained locally and worth noting Tommy Berry takes the ride.
