Solid tempo set by Cry Tonight and Smile Kei. CRY TONIGHT (10) is in a purple patch of form with her third straight win coming last time out over this track and trip. Same winning combination as last time and can measure up again. DAIYAME (2) turned in a good effort when narrowly defeated last time at this track. Should be in the finish again. PAWA POKE CHAMP (7) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his last appearance at this track over 1400m on August 2 2024. Has found a suitable race and is worth including. KUCHOMOZA KWA JUA (9) ran well below his best last time here in fourth at $3.50. Has a solid record here at the distance with eight wins and three placings from 14 tries. Not to be discounted.
