Solid tempo with Epaullo Creed leading from Miss Emma and Spirits Burn Deep. A tough Federal. SPIRITS BURN DEEP (9) appeals most building on her comfortable CL3 win at Goulburn. She'd raced well in town prior and likes wet tracks. Gets in light this grade with a 2kg claim atop, and she has the early speed to kick up from the inside barrier. EPAULLO CREED (4) was quickly back into the winner's circle leading and winning an 82 at Moruya on the slow. Carries just 54kgs with the claim and may control the race. He's sure to take passing. TAVOLO (6) resumes for the Potter yard and is much better than the recent form suggests. She flies fresh and has metro form that more than stacks up. TOES IN THE WATER (5) has been within range her last three starts and Penza goes aboard. Likes the sting out of the track and she's capable of popping up at a price.
