Vonk should be able to find the lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. VARANE (4) has only had the three runs and has returned this campaign with two solid performances. Looks nicely placed in this line-up and should go close. JESSUP (2) was a Cranbourne winner in April and form since has been mixed. On her best she is well up to a race like this. Expected to run well. STUBBYHOLLER (3) went for a spell on a winning note and returned in the same rich vein of form with a nice win here first-up. Will be further improved and won't be far away at the business end. GOING NUCLEAR (5) led them up and tired late last time. Is better placed in this company and can bounce back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Back Varane to win and take in a quinella with numbers 2 & 3.
