Hot pace certain with Crowned Hornbill, Yamadori and Cliff Top keen to take up the running. FAIRY KNIGHT (1) got going too late when second over 1200m last start. Five of his ten career victories have come on this course. He will strip a much fitter horse and can return to winning form with Richard Fourie back in the saddle. ANUSCHKA'S WORLD (3) won his last start over 1200m on this course easier than the official margin suggests. He has won once, finished second twice and third once from as many starts over this course and distance. The son of One World may be the horse to fill the exacta spot. FOREST SPY (5) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when ninth and beaten over 1200m at this track. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. SONG OF MYSELF (8) turned in a much better effort last time out when scoring over 1200m at Fairview All Weather. Looks well placed and can repeat the dose.
