Genuine tempo from Scenic Rim leading Venturous. A CERTAIN MAYBE (9) was quickly back on track at Warwick and then improved again beaten 2L at Ipswich. Maps well and hits this race at peak. Proven at the mile and will go close. GUTS 'N' GLORY (3) rates well on the 1L defeat at Beaudesert in stronger. Fitter again and has more to give. A player. SCENIC RIM (2) was plainer at the latest but the form prior reads well. Races forward and has won 2/2 this track/trip. Has a handy 2kg claim and is an each-way chance. VENTUROUS (8) is third-up of two near misses and they read well. Stanley is reunited and he can lead or trial from an inside barrier. Much improved and is a winning proposition. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to A Certain Maybe.
