GRASS FELLOW (13) returns from a spell of eight months and did win first-up last time in work over this track and trip. Looks set to run well. FRAGRANZA (12) has been in the placings his past two starts, finishing second here last time out. Wada Joji who has four wins when partnering stays on. Leading contender. EROS (1) was in the firing line on the bend and finished second last start at the first run back from a spell here, beaten 1.75 lengths. Ready to go one better. DERMA UCHIGAKE (10) is having her first run since May 21. Has a strong record when fresh with three wins from four runs, the most recent over 1400m at this track at the start of last prep. Makes plenty of appeal.
