GOING: G(4)

BISHOP COLLINS AUDIT SPRINGTIME CONDITIONAL BENCHMARK 68 HANDICAP 1200m

Track: Good 4   Rain (Max: 17)   Rail: True.

Bodhi Boy is expected to lead at a keen tempo. TWO YA GOT (4) has been freshened up since missing the placings for the first time in a while against open company over this distance at Coffs Harbour five weeks ago. Four winners have come from that sprint. Genuine gelding who will be tough to stop back in a BM68. SHIRVINGTON (3) was scratched from Warwick Farm on Wednesday to be kept for this. Opened this prep with a dogged win over 1100m here against BM64 opposition. Always well placed by Bjorn Baker so respect the decision to come here. BODHI BOY (5) backs up nine days after a decent effort at the Kensington track in heavy going. Nicely in after Fitzgerald's claim so from a perfect gate he is a definite contender. APACHE BREEZE (6) is another who is racing well with his chances are enhanced by an improving racing surface. Pretty sure the winner comes from this quartet. Last start winner OAKFIELD DUKE (1) is next in the betting but only performs on wet tracks so today's conditions won't suit. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Two Ya Got on an each-way basis.
