Track: GOOD   Clear (Max: 24)

The Mikado, Flyingcool and Uncle Lucky to take up the running at a decent tempo. DAPPER (8) is a lightly raced colt with good form lines to his credit. He should have won his last start as he hung inwards in the final 400m. With a bit of luck from his wide draw of eight should be the one to beat. FLYINGCOOL (2) has finished third in his last three starts. He gets the blinkers fitted for the first time which should keep his mind on the task at hand. He jumps from a good draw of two and merits healthy respect. CAPTAIN MARSALA (9) finished second in his only attempt over this course and distance. He is likely to race up on the speed from his wide draw and may be hard to peg back. LANDSEER (4) ran a better race last start at his second appearance, finishing fourth over 1200m at Greyville. Progressive type with strong each-way claims.
