Strong tempo with Grand Themis, Mio First and A Shin Buono leading the way. A SHIN BUONO (9) got home with ease last time out over 1230m at this track. Has a decent record at this track with two wins and three minor placings from 10 starts. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Best figures should see him run well. MEISHO SONIC (3) won his maiden over this course and distance last start, getting the verdict comfortably. Jumps from a nice gate and he is a great chance to go back-to-back. SCINTILLENT (10) turned in a fine effort to score at this course and distance last time out to build on a solid first-up result. Taking on a better field but he is worth serious consideration. GRAND THEMIS (6) resumed over 1400m at this track last start and was too good for her rivals, scoring by a nose. Will be better for that latest run and is among the better chances.
