Leading Impact should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. Locally trained filly BALMAIN DARLING (7) has impressed in her two runs to date, both over 900m at Newcastle. Comfortably home on debut then found the line well last time but was no match for the winner. The extra furlong today is the key - ready to win again. BELIEVE IN ANGELS (1) returns from a brief spell. Handy gelding from the Pride stable who was beaten just 0.6 lengths when fresh from a break at Warwick Farm last prep. Has his share of weight but in this company he looks a serious threat. ZOUNAKA (3) last appeared when a respectable seventh in the Canberra Guineas in March. Recent Randwick trial winner who looks ready for a bright return. BEAU BANDIT (4) overcame adversity to hold on for second when resuming last time out at Newcastle. Progressive four-year-old who cannot be underestimated. Promising three-year-old LEADING IMPACT (6) has a tougher task today but from gate one is right in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: This looks ideal for Balmain Darling.
